NIGERIAN NAVY MARKS 63RD ANNIVERSARY

The Nigerian Navy will today begin a series of activities to commemorate its 63rd Anniversary. Consequently, there will be a press briefing at the Naval Headquarters today followed by Jummat and church services on 24 and 26 May 2019 in all Naval Commands and establishments. Furthermore, the Naval Officers’ Wives Association (NOWA) will be hosting a seminar at Nigerian Navy Ship QUORRA in Lagos on 27 May 2019 and a philanthropic activity on 28 May 2019. All naval commands will host medical outreach programmes between 27-28 May 2019, while naval ships will be open to visitors from 27-29 May 2019. On 30 May 2019, Nigerians from all walks of life will be embarked on naval ships for a sea trip. On Friday 31 May 2019, there will be commissioning of projects in Lagos area. The climax of the anniversary is the traditional ceremonial sunset/dinner and awards night     on 1 Jun 2019 at the Naval Dockyard Limited, Victoria Island, Lagos.
