CNS CHARGES NEWLY PROMOTED OFFICERS TO REDEDICATE THEMSELVES TO SERVICE

The Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas has charged newly promoted senior officers at the Naval Headquarters to rededicate themselves to the service of the Nigerian Navy and the nation.
Speaking at the shipping of stripes of 9 officers on Tuesday,the CNS, represented by the Chief of Policy and Plans, Rear Admiral Begroy Ibe-Enwo enjoined the officers to be more committed to duty and uphold the core values of the Nigerian Navy in discharging their responsibilities.
Rear Admiral Ibe-Enwo noted that elevation comes with higher responsibilities and therefore called on the newly decorated officers to be diligent and accountable in their services to the Nigerian Navy.
Speaking on behalf of the newly promoted officers after being decorated with their new rank, Commodore Semiu Adepegba expressed gratitude to God Almighty for the promotion and thanked President Muhammadu Buhari, the Navy Board and CNS for finding them worthy of the promotion.
Commodore Adepegba promised that they will work in tandem with the new elevation by putting in more into their duties.
The newly promoted officers at the Naval Headquarters include 3 Commodores, 3 Navy Captains and 3 Commanders.
